Anderson County Special Education CO-OP provides services
through its member districts (Cayuga, Elkhart, Frankston,
Neches, Slocum and Westwood) to any eligible child, age 3-21,
who has a developmental delay or disability and to children with
vision and/or hearing disabilities from birth to age 21.
These services are available at no cost to the family and are
provided through the district in which the child resides.

a student's need for special education can be initiated by a parent,
guardian, teacher, physician, community agency or other appropriate
individuals. For those youngsters presently attending a public
school, referral is usually channeled through the principal's office.
